The Visit North Carolina team conducts community management and traveler engagement using social media channels. Activity in social media in 2016-17 will continue to leverage travel across the state for real-time posts and engagement, user generated content sharing and new technologies for user engagement.
Effectiveness of the social media campaign is measured through:
- Partner investment in social programs
- Partner engagement with Visit NC social accounts
- User engagement across platforms, including likes, shares, comments and clicks
- Community growth
