The Visit North Carolina team conducts community management and traveler engagement using social media channels. Activity in social media in 2018-19 will continue to leverage travel across the state for real-time posts and engagement, user-generated content sharing and new technologies for user engagement.

Effectiveness of the social media campaign is measured through:

  • Partner investment in social programs
  • Partner engagement with Visit NC social accounts
  • User engagement across platforms, including likes, shares, comments and clicks
  • Community growth
