This tradeshow brings 30,000 travel trade professionals together to meet with destinations around the world. I-95 South NC Welcome Center re-opens
The I-95 South NC Welcome Center in Rowland has reopened after being relocated since March 2022. The NC Dept. of Transportation planned a major construction project for the site, which included demolishing and rebuilding the Welcome Center along with the Rest Area restrooms and vending, bringing them all under one roof in one state-of-the-art building. The official re-opening ceremony will be scheduled for a later date.
As with each of the nine NC Welcome Centers, the I-95 South location displays brochures for a variety of tourism-related businesses at no charge to those businesses. Tourism-related partners are welcome to send their brochures to the I-95 South NC Welcome Center once their brochure has been approved by NC Commerce’s Visitor Services; view the Brochure Policy via here. Any brochures sent to any NC Welcome Center must be accompanied by an Approval letter from Visitor Services.
