Spots still open for pre-Tourism Conference Social Content workshops

Come early to the Visit NC Tourism Conference to take advantage of either an Intro or Advanced workshop dedicated to improving your social media content. This year, choose from one of these workshops based on where you are and where you're going in your social strategy. Regardless of the session, you'll come away with actionable ideas and plans to use in your destination. For questions, contact Visit NC’s Katie Bailey.

Intro: In this session, participants will go in-depth on the basics of effective content creation, including best practices in storytelling for written, photo and video content; content capture and social media management; and sourcing user-generated content (UGC) and optimizing posts on different social channels. The session will conclude with an optional half-hour Q&A session where participants’ questions can be addressed with more hands-on, in-depth guidance from session leaders.
Who should sign up: Partners who want to create a better foundation, or a new plan, for their brand’s content strategy and build confidence in creating share-worthy content across social platforms.

Advanced:In this session, participants will be immersed further into the world of content creation and strategy, including ways to capture more versatile assets for asset libraries, creating unique content around repeat events, repurposing influencer content on organic channels and deepening relationships through content informed by social listening. The session will conclude with an optional half-hour Q&A session where participants’ questions can be addressed with more hands-on, in-depth guidance from session leaders.
Who should sign up: Partners who already have a strong social foundation but want to up-level, diversify and expand their approach to content strategy.
