Partners inspire North Carolina-based media at Raleigh Media Mission

Visit North Carolina's PR team and 31 partners from across the state shared their stories with media representatives from print, broadcast and digital outlets at the annual in-state media reception Monday in Raleigh. The event, co-hosted by Visit Raleigh, drew a record turnout of 35 media guests to Brewery Bhavana, the taproom/dim sum restaurant/bookstore/flower shop that has earned national acclaim since its 2017 opening. The media mission gave media the opportunity to hear from partners about developments that should be of interest for future stories. After hearing pitches from the state on a range of topics - including new attractions; the latest on the winery, distillery and brewery front; new hotels and restaurants; and below-the-radar destinations - journalists commented about having new ideas and getting inspiration from the event.
